Constant are an independent, privately owned, family run and award winning specialist in the provision of quality security and support services. Based in South Yorkshire, we have grown organically, with no diversification for over 25 years to employ over 500 full-time Security Officer to become one of the largest and most respected independent security companies in the Country and are specialists in the provision of security services including:

• Static Guarding • Mobile Patrols • Keyholding and alarm activation response • CCTV remote monitoring • Special Event management

Our Company has had many years experience in providing security services, notably to industrial, commercial, financial, educational and various public sector organisations.

We operate to the highest possible industry standards. We have in place every professional membership and accreditation available including ISO 9001 : 2000.

We are an SIA Approved Contractor and have recently been independently assessed and confirmed as having one of the highest Approved Contractor Scheme Scores – standing at 106 points, this compared to an industry average of 27.

We are also a Gold Award Member of the National Security Inspectorate, again, confirming us as a company within the top 4% operating in the country. We are a long standing member of the BSIA and Skills for Security.

Recent Achievements

We are also pleased to be in a position to inform you of a number of achievements in which our company has been recognised including:

In March this year our newly recruited colleague Khum Ale was awarded the BSIA – Best Regional Newcomer Award. Khum came to our company following a distinguished career in the British Army – Gurkha regiment. Khum works as a Skills Coach Assessor for the new Security Practitioner Qualification. He was one of the first two people in the Country to be able to undertake this role, both of which work for Constant.

We are the current Security Excellence Awards – Best UK Guarding Company which represents a major coup for a company of our size in a market dominated by major national/international security companies.

In September 2006 our team deployed to Kirklees Metropolitan Council were awarded the British Security Industry Association – Security Team of the Year, for work undertaken on a particularly demanding and challenging inner city housing estate.

In March 2005 our colleague Mark Hutchinson was awarded the British Security Industry Association – National Security Officer of the Year Award
