The Governors of a Rotherham Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic part-time Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated staff team in the Foundation Unit, to work 27.5 hours per week, term time only.
This is a permanent post which is required as soon as possible.
The main purpose of the post is to work under the direct supervision of Teaching Staff to assist access to learning for pupils in Key Stage 1 and provide general classroom support.
The school are seeking someone who:
• Is an enthusiastic and caring person
• Can support individual children in their learning and achievement
• Has NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Child Care Education
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• A professional and mature attitude
• Self motivation
• An ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team
• Excellent time keeping and high standards of personal presentation
