SENIOR SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER
LOCATION: Rotherham
SALARY AND BENEFITS: 30-35K
COMPANY INFORMATION:

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Qualified as Lead Auditor TS16949
- Qualified to HNC level in electrochemical or production Engineering
- Relevant industrial experience in automotive or high volume component manufacturing
- Knowledge and experience in SPC, FMEA, MSA, control plans, PPAP and related quality planning procedures and sampling techniques.
IDEALLY YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Working knowledge and experience of using Lean Six Sigma tools
- Knowledge of plastic moulding processes, decorative finish processes such as painting and chrome plating
- Willingness to travel overseas at short notice
ROLE INFORMATION:
- To manage the daily activities of the supplier quality team to ensure that supplier quality problems are closed quickly and efficiently.
-To undertake visits to supplier sites to investigate quality problems and offer support, to educate suppliers in problem solving techniques and to conduct audits.
- To manage and develop the incoming inspection procedures
