Reporting directly to the Managing Director and working as a member of the organisation's management team. The principal responsibility of this role is to develop, deliver and market the full suite of training courses offered by the company
Tasks and responsibilities
§ Manage and administer the training function
§ Deliver training courses including interview, leadership, communication skills
§ Identify, select and manage as required external training and accreditation bodies, agencies and providers necessary to deliver required training to appropriate standards.
§ Liaise with clinical facilitators where courses require their input
§ Developing new courses; ensuring suitable course content; produce training materials
§ Refine existing courses
§ Manage training delivery measurement and follow up as necessary
§ Stay informed as to relevant skill and qualifications levels required by facilitators for effective up to date delivery , and circulate requirements and relevant information to the senior management team, as appropriate,
§ evaluate the success of individual training and the overall programme
§ manage a training budget
§ Raise the profile of courses to institutions
§ Produce organisational strategy and plans to meet ever changing training and development needs
§ As part of business development, establish key relationships with institutions
§ Work closely with the Marketing manager to increase exposure of the courses
§ Constantly review the cost effectiveness of venue facilities
§ Resource plan for busy periods
§ Ensure clear lines of communication are maintained
