As a leading provider of outsourced customer contact services to the Financial Services and Insurance Industries, our client delivers a wide range of non-advice sales campaigns to a range of clients from large Blue Chips down to niche product providers. Having undergone considerable growth over the last 2 years, they are now looking to broaden their service proposition to the provision of advice lead sales campaigns. As a consequence we are looking for a highly competent Compliance Manager to help build this service offering through the implementation and ongoing management of a compliance framework that covers all aspects of the regulatory, compliance and quality requirements for advice lead selling as governed by the FSA.
This is an extremely broad position with both an operational and a client facing remit. You will be responsible for building and implementing a robust but practical compliance framework that facilitates the profitable growth of an advice-lead sales function - including working closely with the HR and Training teams to ensure that the necessary compliance procedures are embedded in every aspect of employee induction and development. Once implemented, you will manage the QA team to ensure that advice lead sales activity is delivered in line with the framework and that calls are compliant with regards to all relevant industry regulations. You will also play a central role in securing new business and retaining and developing existing clients by providing assurance and ongoing reaffirmation that our client is fully compliant in all aspects of its advice lead sales activity. This will require time spent with potential and existing clients, presenting and promoting the robust compliance framework that you will have played the central role in developing.
To succeed in this position you will be a solutions orientated Compliance Manager that actively seeks out ways to deliver results. With a thorough practical understanding of all FSA regulation - particularly but not exclusively with regards to ICOB - you will have had recent experience of managing the compliance framework within a similar sales driven environment and will have a true grasp of what is possible. Confident and articulate, you will relish the opportunity to bring your compliance skills into the business development arena, securing new business through the presentation of a robust compliance framework to both new and existing clients. It goes without saying that you will have the interpersonal skills that allow you to work across all functions of the business, bringing teams together to ensure compliance is a business enabler that sits at the heart of the operation.
