Our client a major South Yorkshire based FMCG and Supply Chain Organisation is keen to recruit a Shift Engineer to join their existing technical maintenance team.
Based on a 4 on 4 off rotating shift, working 12 hour shifts, 2 days 2 nights, 4 off. Salary will be in the region of £26000 with graded increments and overtime payable.
Key Responsibilities and Duties will include:
*Carry out effective Maintenance and repair on machinery and services, adhering to preventative plans.
*Production of Lost Time and Breakdown reports
*Ensure that all machinery is in line with required standards, utilising the most appropriate and efficient maintenance regime.
*Suggest improvements to work practices, machine operation and plant services where required.
