Location : Sheffield, Rotherham, Worksop, Chesterfield, Mansfield, Derby, Nottingham
Salary : £35-45,000 according to experience
Job description :
My client is a fairly small but very busy company involved in the delivery of high value, mechanically biased Capex projects. As a result of an ever growing order book, they now have a vacancy for an Engineering Manager / Technical Manager / Principal Engineer to join their team.
The role will involve overseeing a group of engineers and technicians (mechanical, electrical, electronics, control systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc) and will see you taking responsibility for co-ordinating all their activities to ensure that all the technical requirements of the project are met.
Required Skillsc and Experience :
+ A formal engineering qualification is essential (mechanical preferred)
+ Experience of working on £ multi-million CAPEX projects
+ Experience of managing small, multi-disciplined teams including contractors
+ Experience of working closely with 3rd party suppliers
+ CAD literacy very much preferred
+ Self starter with high levels of attention to detail and customer focus
+ Able to travel when required, including internationally
Salary is negotiable according to experience but is likely to be in the range of £35-45,000 plus benefits.
