A growing young company within the IT security sector requires an I.T. Project Manager to join their expanding team.
We are particularly seeking a dynamic individual who can both make an immediate contribution and have the ability to grow with the company at this exciting time and play a part in the future of the business.
1. Development of Website
a. Manage technical development of website
i. Integration with company Security Suite technology
ii. Integration of company’s specialist web based security solution
iii. ServiceDesk/ITIL implementation
b. Agree specifications with Board of Directors
c. Write scripts and design web pages
d. Manage suppliers
e. Responsible for leads generated via website and increasing site rankings
2. Product Development
a. Manage development of security suite
b. Manage technical relationship with suppliers
3. Customer installations
a. Manage technical definition of solutions
b. Continually seek out new technical solutions to stay ahead of competition and reduce costs
c. Train customers and develop package so that a greater proportion of installations can be contracted out
d. 2nd line support role, supporting office manager
4. Office IT
a. Manage IT for company to support customers and staff
b. Provide technical support
We are looking for a graduate calibre, methodical person with 3-5 years experience in a technical role. You should have good people and management skills. You will have previous led on the development of IT/software development projects and be actively engaged in continuous personal development as this role carries the opportunity to grow into an IT directorship.
Ideally, technical skills should include:
\" Experience with website development including
“ HTLM
“ Java (basic experience)
\" Microsoft .net
\" ITIL or other quality process
\" Managing software development projects
Personal qualities will include:
\" Self-starter
\" Good telephone manner
\" Ability to build rapport with customers
\" Good team-player
\" Ability to manage suppliers or sub-contractors
\" Potential to be develop into IT Director of the company
Salary is negotiable up to £25,000pa depending on relevant experience. The company also offer a generous benefits package on top of the salary - including 25 days holiday per year, an employee share scheme, 5% pension contribution and a bonus programme.
