My Client is a highly successful and forward thinking Manufacturing subsidiary, a division of a global corporation. As a Group they are extremely profitable and focused on growth both organically and by acquisition.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this responsible role will include preparation of weekly and monthly management information, analysis, reporting on financial ledgers and cost reporting to the parent company. In addition you will work closely with Production advising on budgets, cost savings and production, together with producing standard costs and recovery rates and developing daily material cost of sales monitors. This varied role you will also involve you in monthly group reporting and forecasting monthly profitability as well as project work developing pricing models.
You will ideally be qualified or studying towards the final stages of CIMA or ACCA qualification with a strong management accounting and costing experience. You must be able to demonstrate strong communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with individuals across all levels in both finance and non-finance areas. You must also demonstrate good Excel skills and a willingness to challenge the status quo and be involved in continual improvement.
