My client is a large engineering company in Rotherham, and has opened up a new position for a finance and credit manager, who will take responsibility for the whole department themselves.
The role will involve 60% Credit control and 40% Accounts Assistant work up to trial balance level.
The credit control aspect of the role will involve handling 75-100 live accounts, which are high value and low volume, and the successful candidate will work on 2 ledgers comprising of circa £45 million. Specific duties will involve chasing payments and allocating cash, regular forecasting of overdue position, regular credit reviews and credit limit management.
