QUALITY, HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGER
LOCATION: Sheffield
SALARY AND BENEFITS: £23-30K
COMPANY INFORMATION:
This company has been in operation for over a century. It is now part of a global organisation with over 10,000 employees. This particular strand of the business has around 300 employees but still managing to maintain a family feel to the business.
YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Hold a formally recognised qualification in Health & Safety - NEBOSH/IOSH
- Previous Experience in a Health & Safety role
- Previous Experience in a Quality role.
- Fluent in continuous improvement tools and training techniques
- Have a minimum qualification - HNC in an Engineering/Science based subject
IDEALLY YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Formal Auditor training- ideally Lead Auditor
- IT Literate (Microsoft Office Tools)
- Lean Manufacturing background
ROLE INFORMATION:
- Ensure the site meets legal requirements for Health & Safety
- Improve the Health & Safety environment for all employees
- Support the implementation and drive quality improvement strategy
- Drive continuous improvement through all processes and products
- Improve product profile, cost, profit, availability and standards
