    I am currently recruiting for a Bank Reconciliation Clerk to work for my client based in Sheffield City Centre.
    The successful candidate will be expected to assist the Head of Cashiers in maintaining a number of the firm’s bank reconciliations so that the firm’s finances are kept in balance and under control. Candidates will be expected to be committed to improving the overall profitability of the firm by providing efficient, cost effective, relevant and accurate work, as required.
    Your main duties will be;
    Identifying entries on the firm’s bank statements that haven’t been posted to the Accounts system; assisting with the firm’s petty cash, answering telephone and email queries.
    The ideal candidate will have a good standard of education and an ability to be taught aspects of the Solicitors Accounts Rules, although a basic prior knowledge of these would be an advantage.
    You should have good computer skills, as experience of using Excel is essential for this post. You should be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative, maintaining a professional approach at all times. The ideal candidate should be able to work to tight deadlines and have good interpersonal skills.
