A rare opportunity has arisen within one of the leading steel firms for a Management Accountant. This position has arisen due to an internal promotion and is to start within a months time.
The company are market leaders in what they do and are known both nationally and internationally.
The ideal candidate will ideally come from a manufacturing background and be a hands on person with a can do attitude.
Your main responsibilities are as following -
- Monthly management accounts preparation
- Year end statutory accounting
- Aliasing with auditors at the end of the year
- Managing a small team
- Completion of monthly and annual reporting packs
- Variance analysis to budget
- Cash flow forecasting
The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills and be an excellent manager.
The company will be looking for someone with the drive to succeed and offers routes for promotion for the right candidate.
