Our client a recently expanded coal mine in the Doncaster area has the requirement for a number of Electricians to join their underground team. Following a £110m investment the client are looking to the future and subsequent development.
Working a 3 shift pattern, consisting of Days, Afternoons & Nights successful candidates will become part of an innovative, forward looking company with plenty of long term prospects. Our client will pay an annual salary of £16,000 rising to £19,215 following a training period with Graded rises following.
Day-Day duties will involve the safe installation, commissioning and de-commissioning of electrical plant equipment. Implementing the Mine Managers scheme for the mine which includes the systematic inspection, examination, maintenance, testing and where required repair of electrical plant equipment. This position will also require report writing where required.0
We are looking for candidates with some working experience although underground experience is not required as a fully comprehensive training period will be undertaken. We are looking for candidates with NVQ level 2 qualifications within Electrical Engineering and a desire to develop their skills long term.
