We are recruiting for a Mechanical Contracts Engineer on behalf of a well respected company based in South Yorkshire.
The key duties of the role will be to be responsible for the cost effective management of contract work and ensuring that budgets and specifications are met ensuring minimal company exposure to commercial/contractual risks.
Day to day duties will include being responsible for the control and monitoring of contracts ensuring that each contract is adequately staffed, motivated and developed, monitor monthly estimates/forecasts against contract requirements including liaising with main contractors and customers, arranging site labour either in-house or externally, carrying out site inspections, attending meetings and resolving any issues that may arise.
You will work on your own initiative with departmental support therefore you should have experience of multi-tasking in a busy yet rewarding environment, working to tight deadlines whilst ensuring above satisfactory standards.
Ideally you will have a solid employment background within this environment and hold relevant qualifications for this post.
