Our client is looking to recruit an automation technician to join their service department. This is a genuine opportunity to work for a global market leader at the cutting edge of automotive component design and manufacture. The role entails development, manufacture, maintenance and breakdown cover of all production test and assembly equipment. You will also be expected to undertake various individual projects, from design to finished product.
The successful candidate must possess a formal electrical/electronic engineering qualification at ONC or HNC level. A minimum of 2 years experience in high volume manufacturing is desirable as is computer literacy. Programming skills with knowledge of Visual Basic 6 and .Net are also required.
