One of our large and well known clients in Sheffield are urgently looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to start immediately. Due to a mixture of maternity and annual leave they are need someone who can start as soon as possible and commit to the next 9 months.
The main purpose of the role is to assist in the production of monthly management accounts, revenue information and monthly forecasts. Your main duties will include:
- To produce monthly provisions/accrual for inclusion in the management accounts
- Reconcile balance sheet control accounts
- Interact with other departments offering financial input when required
- Assist in the ongoing development of ancillary revenue reporting
- Work closely with other finance departments to improve processes and information feed
- Work as part of a team to achieve departmental targets
You will be self motivated and proactive with proven experience with an Accounts Department. Ideal Candidates will be comfortable in dealing with all levels of staff and be a confident communicator who can adapt to a rapidly changing business.
This is a fulltime post and the salary is negotiable depending on experience.
