DUTY MANAGER
An exciting opportunity exists for a Duty Manager. Our client, a privately owned, refurbished independent cinema situated in the heart of the Cultural Industries Quarter, one of the biggest in the UK
My Client are looking to recruit an experienced Duty Manager. The cinema boasts 4 screens of which show international and cultural films.
Your main duties for this role will include managing staff in the absence of the manager.
Be capable of re-ordering stock, food and alcohol. You will be fully responsible for the day to day running and involved with the functions from enquiries to sales and complaints. The cinema has a high standard of practice and prides itself on customer service
Other duties include serving customer and handling cash and card transactions.
I will be looking for forward onto my client a motivated candidate that can lead a team, cash handling skills, as well as knowledge of cashing up and securing the premises at the end of the evening shift if needs be. The right candidate will have experience of a similar role.
You will be required to work 45-48 hours a week, 5 days out of 7 and due to the nature of the business you will work some split shifts and some late finishes. The salary is circa £17K other benefits include free films.
