    Business Services and IT Manager

    Department: IT

    Objective: The IT manager is responsible for the day to day management of all Business processing and IT related issues, upgrades and controls.
    Reports to: Managing Director.

    •IT Project management

    Responsibilities

    •Manage and develop all IT services in line with Group policies.
    •To be familiar with Virtual Machines (VM Ware) to administer the virtual servers.
    •To maintain and create users as required in Microsoft Active Directory
    •To monitor and maintain backups for all servers.
    •Provide support for all IT systems and ensure hardware is suitably maintained and up to date.
    •Maintain and develop the reporting from the Ingres SQL database on which FEPA runs.
    •Develop and implement training programmes on the operational usage of all IT systems.
    •To be conversant with all the basic functions, and perform troubleshooting within the FEPA environment.
    •To be familiar with, and keep up to date with all aspects of the company’s operational software.
    •To assist the management team in the generation of the business plans, marketing strategy and budgets.


    Reporting

    •To prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required
    •To communicate well with colleagues and staff and maintain good working relationships.


    Financial

    •To work within agreed budgets, where applicable


    Other

    •To undertake any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

    Travel will also be involved in the role to germany and possibly other sites.
    You must have previous IT management experience ideally 5-8years.
