An exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager (logistics) in a unique conference facility based around the S2 area.
Our client is looking for a self motivated individual that can work in a fast paced catering environment. Primary aspects of this role are to pack and deliver cold lunches and buffets for their ever growing client base. Working as part of a friendly team, your duties will include some helping with producing hospitality foods to a high standard for external customers. The rest of the day will be spent multi drop driving, delivering the food to various clients around Sheffield and as far as Rotherham.
This is a customer facing role, so the successful applicant will be presentable, pleasant preferably with some experience of customer service. You will also need a good knowledge of the Sheffield area. The position also requires some heavy lifting, lead generation and using your ‘loaf’ when plans change! Maintenance of the vehicles (they use fuel and a veg oil mix) will also be your responsibility, thus you will need a full driving licence with NO-MORE than 3 points. The successful applicant will need to be from a catering background and have a good understanding of food and hygiene.
This is a part-time position with the potential to go full time for the right applicant. The position is £18,000 pro rata. You will be required to work 9am-1pm Mon-Fri. A rarity in hospitality!
