COMPANY INFORMATION:
- A well known household brand with a strong infrastructure on a national basis is currently looking to recruit a Business Development Professional. This is an organisation ahead of their competitors and know what their target market are seeking from this unique third party service/solutions provider.
YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Minimum of two years previous B2B / 2m=MAN home delivery experience
- The ability to work in an embryonic team with dynamic and forward thinking individuals
- Exposure of working on your own initiative in a B2B environment with little supervision
- Have a flexible approach
- Be of an incredibly professional manner with real attention to providing clients with solutions.
- The ability to build long term business relationships
- Commercial acumen and the capability of negotiating contracts for significant sums of money.
IDEALLY YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Previous experience of business to business sales in a transport/logistics environment
- Capable of presenting solutions at a senior level within organisations
- Experience of dealing with individual accounts of up to £ 0.5 million
- Travelling across the UK on a national basis
- Previous sales experience in a large contract environment
- Two - MAN home delivery service
ROLE INFORMATION:

- Responsible for identifying new client opportunities
- Seeing the whole process of a sale through from the initial contact through to completion of the contract with assistance from a Project Manager.
- Capable of dealing with invitations to bid
- To efficiently use a CRM system
- Working with little supervision although having clear direction and leadership from the management team
- Interfacing with clients in retail, distribution and warehousing.
- This is a consultative sales approach and therefore the ability to develop long term relationships is key.
