    Provides strategic and/or
    operational consultation,
    service delivery, coordination,
    and support on a variety of
    human resources initiatives
    such as recruiting,
    staffing/resourcing,
    compensation, benefits,
    training, employee development,
    and employee relations.

    Acts as a liaison between
    employees and/or managers and
    the organization by
    interpreting personnel policies
    and procedures and resolving
    employee concerns. Manages
    complex relationships and the
    competing priorities and
    cultures that occur among
    diverse groups.

    Implements or administers human
    resources policies, procedures,
    and programs which accomplish
    the organization's strategic
    and operational plans, and
    conform to applicable corporate
    and legal requirements.

    Uses knowledge of change
    management tools and techniques
    to enhance organizational
    effectiveness and to support
    reaching business
    goals/objectives.

    Technology: Utilizes desktop
    tools, HRIS, and other tools to
    present, monitor, and track HR
    related information.

    People: Serves as a trusted
    advisor to employee and
    management populations,
    ensuring that human
    capital is leveraged optimally
    and that a work environment
    exists that fosters employees'
    creativity, energy, and
    interest.

    Customer: Partners with line
    management to ensure that
    maximum levels of customer
    satisfaction are achieved by
    using human capital as a
    strategic resource.
    Demonstrates effective service
    delivery of HR programs to
    internal customers. Ensures
    that HR policies and procedures
    meet requirements of external
    customers.

    Business: Works collaboratively
    with management on strategy
    development, resource
    allocations and organization
    effectiveness issues. Can gain
    executive support for HR
    programs.

    Financial: Ensures that HR
    solutions are cost effective.
    Ensures that HR solutions,
    processes, and decisions are
    implemented in a manner that
    limits unnecessary financial
    risk to the organization.
