Position: ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER / ELECTRONIC ENGINEER
Location: Manchester Oldham
Salary: £30-£32k +pension+bonus
Software / Electrical Controls Engineer- (preferably HNC/Degree qualified)
Our client are a leading manufacturer of steam sterilisers for use in the pharmaceutical/hospital markets are currently recruiting due to grow within the department.
Predominantly dealing with the Omron PLC software, (but training in this langugue will be given) utilised in the above products. In addition the candidate would be dealing with the electrical control systems, involving control panel design, schematics, bills of materials etc he would not be expected to deal with mechanical aspects of the design.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced electrical design engineer preferably with experience within a manufacturing environment and working within a design team. The role will require experience in purpose built machinery dealing with the control of steam generators, flow control of steam and fluids.
The equipment incorporates steam pressure vessels, process valves, pipe work, pneumatics, pumps, compressors, solenoids, digital controllers, temperature and pressure transducers etc.
Software Packages
General omron programming software, autocad lite, general Microsoft packages are used for the design process along with company manufacturing packages
Required experience:
Successful candidates would have a over 5 years experience within an Electrical Engineering capacity and must be able to write and design complex PLC programs and work on all aspects of electrical control systems done to component level.
