Our client a major Public Sector body in the South Yorkshire area, with an innovative and customer focussed approach to building design services; has the requirement for a Building Services Designer to join their Asset Management team on a fixed term contract until April 2009 with a possible contract extension.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing an innovative and customer focussed building services designs, contract administration, site inspection and energy management services; to meet strategic objectives. You will ensure building services designs deliver best value and best practice, make the process of design and the management of projects accessible. You will respond effectively to the challenge of efficiency savings in the field of building services design and energy management.

Successful candidates will have a relevent ammount of post qualification professional experience, with experience of the specification and installation of energy management systems. You will be an effective man manager with proven managerial experience, the ability to manage budgetary controls and experience of partnerships with both internal and external organisations.
