Our Client are a Mechanical Services Contractor which whilst providing the complete package of services specialises in air conditioning. Most projects are designed in house.
Our Client offer design installation commissioning and maintenance of all mechanical engineering services and looking for a:
MECHNICAL DESIGN ENGINEER
ROLE:
You Must be able to meet with Client or end user and interpret their requirements.
Must be able to design heating ventilation air conditioning, and plumbing services including all load calculations, pipework and ductwork sizing, and equipment selection.
Preparing specifications and Drawings for Client/Consulting Engineers approval.
The successful applicant will be commercially aware, and used to operating in the competitive marketplace.
Experience :
At least 5 years experience with a design and install HVAC contractor.
Must be experienced with HEVACOMP. AutoCAD would be preferable but not essential.
Other duties
Whilst not essential, preference will be given to applicants who would be able to assist our busy contracts department with taking the systems designed in house and providing an accurate tender, and running the installation contract up to and including agreeing the final account.
Qualifications:
HNC, HND, ACIBSE level. However consideration will be given to candidates with lesser qualifications but sufficient experience to bring them up to the required level.
