| Our client, a well established business for over 100 years have a fantastic opportunity for a Marketing Executive to join their forward thinking, fast paced and dynamic team. This position has arisen due to company success and could be an immediate start for the successful candidate!!! Your role as Marketing Executive will consist of reporting to the Marketing Manager with your primary objective being to assist in the successful implementation of the marketing strategy, including delivering on target campaigns. This role will expose you to a wide variety of marketing production, event organisation and media liaison. The central purpose of the position is to support the Marketing Function in achieving departmental objectives, with marketing activity fundamental to company growth. Key Responsibilities: • Developing campaign ideas with the input of sales and business development at all times • Generate copy for various mediums using Company guidelines • Proofreading and copy checking ALL marketing collateral following the procedures specified • Identifying target audience for campaigns • Chase agents/sales managers to confirm delivery of DM • Briefing external agencies for creative work • Briefing marketing admin assistant on mailing list name acquisition where necessary • Production of email marketing activity within product sector • Sourcing mailing lists for e-shots • Managing the sending process using the system in place • Writing press releases and news stories for submission to trade press and company website • Sending PR to editors and chasing up progress of story • To offer creative input into the stand design and content • To arrange logistics of events • To have regular contact with customers – particularly when they have enquired directly from a campaign • To identify and explore new products and/or market opportunities & report to directors Experience: • You will have at least 24mnths experience in marketing, preferably within an engineering or technical based company • You will have an educational background of Marketing or English language, this an advantage but not essential • Excellent organisational skills • High level IT skills across the Microsoft Office suite • Outstanding communication skills and high standard of written English Our client is looking for an outstanding, organised individual who thrives on challenge and who wants to shine within a fast paced & dynamic company.
