A company who are at the forefront of global spring technology are looking for an Engineer to join their team. The company provide services to the spring industry, supplying spring testing machines, and spring design software. The company operates from their EN ISO 9001 and BS EN ISO 17025 accredited laboratories in Sheffield 3.
This engineer role is "hands on" and will work in our spring testing machine manufacturing area. Primary tasks will be:-
1. Building test machines.
2. Writing and modification of test machine control software.
3. Design of test machines.
4. Commissioning, calibration, maintenance and repair of test machines.
Applicants should ideally be degree qualified in control engineering, electronics, or mechanical engineering, and should have an understanding of programming languages such as VB6 and VB.Net.
As experience is gained the successful candidate will be expected to gradually take on design of new machines and participate in quotations to customers, and ultimately to run this section.
