This is a senior position within an established Sheffield engineering company, reporting directly to the Operations Director. The company has a wide ranging client base coupled with extensive manufacturing capability.
Ideally the successful candidate will be qualified to HNC level in Production Engineering and will have a background in the production of accurate and detailed manufacturing cost estimates generated from client manufacturing drawings covering a wide variety of both machining and fabrication work.
Within a short period of time we would expect the successful candidate to take on a more senior role, combining their own estimating function, with that of the day to day operation and control of the Estimating and Sales Department. This would involve overseeing and monitoring enquiries, with possible issue to other estimators within the department and telephone follow up of selected tenders.
The company will provide full support to the successful candidate during the initial period of introduction to the company’s Estimating and Sales Department. The position offers great potential for advancement within a very pro-active and progressive organisation with an excellent salary and benefit package.
