Hours: Part time 22.5 hours over 5 days
We are looking for a housekeeper to support the nursing team in the delivery of high standards of patient care within the Day Surgery Unit at the Northern General Hospital.
As part of the team you would be responsible to the Lead Practitioner, for the provision of the non-clinical needs of the patients and ensuring that the patient and staff environments are clean and tidy.
Applicants will be educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) including English at grade D along with experience of working in a health care setting or in a similar customer focused environment dealing with the public. They will have a flexible and adaptable approach to working effectively within a multidisciplinary team, demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have a high regard for confidentiality.
This job is unlikely to attract a work permit. Applications from candidates who require a permit to work in the UK may not be considered if there are a sufficient number of other suitable candidates.
