Our client, while specialising in air conditioning, offer design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of all mechanical engineering services. They offer a complete package of building services primarily for commercial office and retail sites and are currently looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineering Services Design Engineer.
The primary role is to design heating, ventilation, air con and plumbing services including equipment selection, load calculations, pipe work and ductwork sizing. You will prepare specifications and drawings for the client or Consulting Engineer’s approval and need to be commercially aware with the ability to meet with the Client and interpret their requirements.
The successful candidate should have substantial experience in a similar type role and have knowledge of HEVACOMP and AutoCAD. Ideally qualified to HND/ACIBSE level, consideration will be given to candidates with lesser qualifications but sufficient experience. Contract experience and the ability to tender is desirable.
