Our client provides consultancy services relating to the specification, procurement, implementation and embedding of Information and Communication Technology systems in educational establishments.
An opportunity has become available for an individual who possesses experience of Networks, Servers and a broad range of user devices to join their young, dynamic and fun team as a Graduate Consultant.
As well as having general experience of Networks and Servers the ideal candidate should also possess strong understanding of TCP/IP, Thin Client, Virtualisation and Microsoft/Apple Networking. A broad-based ICT knowledge is of greater importance than in-depth hands-on experience of specific vendor infrastructure technologies.
The role will be predominately home based so the individual must be a self-starter and self-motivated. Communication with the team will be done via video conferencing daily, supported by regular face-to-face meetings as required.
Candidates must possess knowledge of or must be willing to learn Audio Visual Systems and have the ability and determination to develop from a Graduate Consultant to a client-facing Commercial Consultant.
In this role the successful applicant will be supported to develop skills in procurement, commercial negotiations and project management.
Candidates must be flexible, as they would also be required to work on client sites.
