JOB TITLE: Production Engineer
LOCATION: West Yorks
SALARY: £28K
BENEFITS: 25 Days holiday, Life assurance, BUPA
My client is one of the leading suppliers in automotive technology, systems and components. This worldwide company is driven by a desire to lead the market in its field.
The Role
Involvement in the identification, development, project management and implementation of capital expenditure projects
Manage process control plans and PFMEA's to ensure they are relevant and reflect the latest situation
Provide technical assistance to manufacturing department
Adherence to all mechanical and electrical standards and ensure best practices are adhered to in the design and implementation of all projects
Assist with technical problems initiating action plans to satisfy customer requirements
The Person
Understanding and experience of lean manufacturing principles
Understanding of the techniques involved and demonstrate experience of implementing continuous improvement
Excellent problem solving and communication skills
Educated to degree level in a production or manufacturing engineering discipline with experience of Auto Cad or similar
Experience in project management
