Finance Manager required for a business based in Barnsley.
Duties will include full production of the monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, accruals and prepayments, cash flow forecast, bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, maintenance of the fixed asset register and VAT Returns.
You also be required to supervise 2 ledger team members and close down the ledgers at month end. The successful candidate must have experience of Management Accounts and be able to manage an Accounts team in a pressurised and changing environment.
Some formal accounts qualification is essential part qualified CIMA/ ACCA. You must have a thorough IT and systems knowledge and a knowledge of construction industry and sub contract ledger is highly advantageous. Excellent communications skills and the ability to work to deadlines is essential.
