My Client, based in Sheffiled, are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Financial Accountant to join their team.
You will be required to support the Financial Accountant in the preparation of the Annual Statutory accounts. You will be required to: manage and maintain the fixed asset register and reconcile on a monthly basis, prepare the income and expenditure analysis, reconcile the balance sheet and control account, prepare the vat return and cash flow forecast. You will also be expected to liaise with a number of external bodies in respect of payroll issues and liaise internally with management accounts to coordinate understanding of balance sheet movements.
You will also be required to manage and develop a Finance Assistant.
You must be a part qualified or qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA) and be able to demonstrate clear evidence of career progression and continual professional development. You must be have experience of VAT reporting and supporting the completion of statutory accounts. Excellent communication, IT skills and interpersonal skills are essential for this role as it flexibility and the ability to adapt to a changing and progressive environment.
