Credit Manager required for superb business in Sheffield.
Duties will include overseeing a team of between 7-10 staff members. You will be required to ensure outstanding debts are chased in a timely and effective manner by staff members and ensure that debtor days are reduced in line with company targets. You will be required to train, develop and monitor staff performance and set targets on cash collection for team members. You will be required to report to management on cash flow, debtors days and team performance. You will also be required to design and implement new working policies and procedures and constantly improve on working efficiencies.
The ideal candidate must be an experienced man manager and have a thorough understanding of credit control and receivables and all associated legislation. The ideal candidate must also be ICM qualified or prepared to work towards it. Excellent communication skills, the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines is also essential.
