| A fantastic opportunity has become available to work for one of the worlds most prestigious leaders in materials and power generation as a Quantity Surveyor. This is a new position and has arisen due to ongoing company success and expansion, and an immediate start is available for the successful candidate. You will be predominantly based in the South Yorkshire area, however you may be expected to travel within the UK and overseas from time to time. As this is a new role, you will have the chance to input your idea’s from previous experience and successes to develop the role further. You will be responsible for the management of sub-contracts on a range of products, including tender issuing and analysis, procurement in both the home and overseas markets. You will be expected to prepare accurate and prudent cost /value analysis and have Good quality and accurate record keeping. To be considered for this position you must have: • Considerable experience in the engineering or construction industry (essential) • Experience of Quantity Surveying (essential) • Experience Maintaining Risk Management processes and procedures (desirable) In reward for this you will receive a very competitive salary + benefits package that is open to negotiation upon interview, as well as working for one of the most sort after companies within their industry.
