| Our client a leading provider of telecommunication solutions are looking for a highly experienced Production Manager to join their sucessful team. The Role The Production Manager will be responsible for manufacturing operations and for the production of all company products from site in accordance with company MPS, quality, cost and delivery targets. The Production Manager will ensure compliance with all regulatory, legislative and company practices and policies, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. The post holder will control and direct staff to deliver product in accordance with the MPS. The post holder will ensure the function operates at maximum effectiveness in terms of labour, working capital and cost control. The person will ensure the manufacturing function complies with Health & Safety and Environmental legislation. They will be responsible for developing the manufacturing capability to utilise modern electronic manufacturing processes and techniques in line with product build and test requirements. The successful candidate will develop a manufacturing strategy in line with the longer-term business needs. This will include the development of manufacturing processes, improve yields, reduce waste, and reduce working capital. They will implement and drive a continuous improvement culture across all reporting functions. The post holder will develop subordinate managers / supervisors. Ensure adequate succession planning for all supervisory and management levels. The successful candidate will function as a senior manager within the business and fully contribute to developing the business working with senior management colleagues.
