| Motor Sales Executive £16,000 – 18,000 pa starting basic (neg) + commission The Role…. In this role you will be expected to sell list rental, lead generation and market research to the motor industry. The company’s digital motor division will provide introductions to manufacturers and dealer groups who they currently sell other products to, but you will also be expected to cold call and prospect in order to generate additional leads and find new suppliers of data. You will also ensure that decision makers of the key target audience know what services the company offers and what they are purchasing, liaise with both the data and motors divisions to ensure all potential opportunities are maximized and source new data partners who can enhance their offerings. A typical day will involve calling new prospect clients, following up existing and potential clients, attending prospect meetings, writing research bids, and attending networking events to promote the companies facilities. The Successful Candidate…. Will have a background in sales and of meeting/exceeding targets, and will need to be a persuasive, articulate and motivated individual who can manage sales processes and be an effective Sales Executive and team player. Previous experience in / an understanding of selling in the motor industry is essential as is a ‘can do’ attitude and the determination to succeed. You will also be required to have strong IT, communication and organisation skills, an understanding of the data capture / market research areas and a confident and professional telephone manner. A full UK driving licence is required for this role.
