| General Manager - South Yorkshire This is an excellent opportunity, with lots of scope for career progression. Working for a fast growing medical distribution business, based in their new office and warehouse premises in North Sheffield. Candidates should have excellent staff management experience and should also possess very strong proven customer service skills, ideally gained in a product distribution orientated business-to-business environment. Accounting experience is also necessary, as is good general IT knowledge. This is a challenging role but there are excellent growth prospects for the right individual. Key activities include; - Staff Management in both accounting, telesales and sales administration functions. - Sales and marketing, including organising and attending trade shows. - Customer contact. - Dealing with sales enquiries. - Sales order management. - Promotional activity. - New product and new market development. - Export development. - Catalogue and mailshot production. - Accounting and purchasing, including supplier liaison and credit control. - Profit improvement programmes. - Budgeting. - Developing reporting systems.
