We are currently recruiting for a Breakdown Call Coordinator for a well respected company based in Doncaster. Initially the role is to cover for maternity for a period of 9-12 months. The role will involve handling vehicle breakdowns from the initial call to resolution. Day to day duties will require the successful candidate to handle and log all breakdown calls onto the database, delegate breakdown details both internally and externally to 3rd party contractors, ensure that the clients are kept informed of progress updates regularly, chase costings, create invoices for jobs and file relevant paperwork once jobs have been completed.
The role involves working 12 hour shift patterns rotating days/nights based on a 2 on - 3 off rota.
The successful candidate should have good customer service skills as most of the day will involve speaking on the telephone to clients, contractors and internal staff and it would be beneficial to have a good knowledge of UK motorways/roads.
