| Financial advisor Barnsley £16 per hour for a 9 month contract You will be responsible for:- Providing financial advice to senior managers and budget holders Provision of financial services including budget preparation, budget monitoring, closing of accounts, preparation of statutory accounts and annual financial statements Supporting the maintenance of statutory and corporate standards as a key element within the Company’s internal controls assurance framework. A qualified accountant, you should have excellent communication skills, the ability to respond to demands of services in a period of change, together with the ability to work within a team environment ensuring strict deadlines are achieved. Minimum 5 years experience in a financial services environment Experience of preparation and monitoring of complex revenue and capital budgets Experience of providing financial support services within a service environment Experience of leading effective teams and/or projects with evidence to demonstrate how objectives are achieved Significant experience of preparing and presenting reports to a wide audience and at a senior level Experience of using computer information systems, including spreadsheets and databases Management experience CCAB qualified Training on Microsoft Office to intermediate level or above Management & Supervisory skills training |
