Financial Systems Specialist
Barnsley • Permanent • £20000 - £25000

To oversee the smooth installation and roll out of a new software package. The role will include travel to other sites within the north of England. A Finance background is desirable as this system is purely finance based and you will be responsible for roll out and training ensure the smooth running and maintain availability of the Network infrastructure and servers, including:
• Day to day maintenance
• Deployment of new systems
• Support to the Helpdesk team and end-users Installation, Management, troubleshooting testing of new software package
• Experience of working in a wide area network including principles of TCP/IP and routing
• Experience of MS SQL systems and scripting in Batch and VBS would be advantageous
• Experience of project management and disaster recovery planning is beneficial
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work without close supervision
• Ability to learn quickly
• Experience of user support is beneficial
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
