A Sheffield based niche market supplier of quality steel processed products are looking for an experienced Sales Co-ordinator to join their team.
You will handle invoicing, dispatch paperwork, quotations, purchase orders, export documentation and oversee the full order process. The role involves producing order schedules using Excel, accurate order entry and production of reports and sales analysis figures. You will deal with enquiries, and track and follow up on orders and quotations with customers. The role involves liaising with agents, distributers and customers as well as carrying out general administrative duties with some exporting of products. There will also be some purchasing analysis and ordering of stock. There could be some ad-hoc pro-active sales of complimentary products.
You will have experience within a sales environment, have full knowledge of the sales order process and possess an understanding of the sales lifecycle. You must be IT literate, with an ability to learn new systems and possess a confident telephone manner. You must be self-motivated, be pro-active and work to deadlines.
You will ideally have a background in a manufacturing or a technical environment, and any language skills (especially French) would be advantageous due to the worldwide nature of the company's distribution network. Some training on export documentation is available.
The salary band for this role is £17,000 to £19,000 dependant upon experience. Other benefits include an annual discretionary bonus, pension scheme and a company funded private health scheme.
