This candidate will undertake the day-to-day running of a growing Contracting Department with overall responsibility for several construction projects, mainly within the housing sector. Candidates should be able to show a commercial understanding and have the ability to organise and plan various contracts and manage Site Managers, operatives and sub-contractors. You should have knowledge of Microsoft Office computer packages, coupled with technical capabilities of preparing both materials and subcontractor packages from plans and specifications. This to be proven through your having acquired building experience via practical and/or professional academic qualifications. It will be an advantage to be conversant with the current NHBC and Building Regulations.
