My client based on the Hellaby Industrial Estate are looking to recruit a Specification Administrator.
Full Job Spec -
Outline of Main Tasks and Responsibilities
• Accurately place orders for all glazing and frame work
• To interpret information from surveys to compile accurate reports
• To liaise with engineers in order to resolve discrepancies in surveys
• To cost items to agreed Insurance Tariffs
• To ensure orders are placed accurately and within service standards
• To assist in maintaining a supplier database ensure records are up to date and maintain coverage for local suppliers
• To agree order ready dates with suppliers in line with service standards
• To process files to meet personal performance targets, measuring volume and accuracy
• To work with Field Engineers to source parts locally in order to complete jobs
• To liaise with local suppliers in order to obtain parts on a fast turnaround for same day complete jobs
Necessary Skills and Experience
• Commercially aware with relevant administrative experience
• Must be an outgoing, a confident communicator
• Must possess a professional polite telephone manner
• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in English and Maths.
• IT literate and competent in Word and Excel applications.
• Must complete a 20-minute literacy and numeracy test before the interview.
Hours and Salary
• 42.5 hours per week, 8am–5pm Monday to Friday.
• £6.45 per hour
