| Have you ever thought about working in Australia? Busy office located a short walk from St Leonards train station making the commute very straight forward. This is a specialist structural engineering firm owned by highly regarded ex-directors of a major engineering firm. Their status in the market has caused the rapid success of this boutique firm and has made them a leading consultancy in Sydney. Projects are varied and include developments for major clients both in Australia and overseas. If you want exposure to structural projects ranging from luxury apartments to 60 storey buildings this is the place for you! We are looking for a mid-level engineer who would benefit from working at a progressive smaller firm where they would be a key figure within the business. There is a genuine opportunity to work towards a managerial role and to further develop the firm. You will require - * 4-7 years local design experience on structural projects * Relevant tertiary qualifications -Beng * Proficient use of software packages - SpaceGass, Microstran, RAPT etc * P/T experience is desirable but not essential (full training provided) * Excellent communication skills & a presentable appearance * Some exposure to dealing with clients and running projects Overall a great chance to leap frog your colleagues and become a senior member of staff with a leading structural consultancy. You will be working closely with the firms directors to get the very best hands on training in running a structural consultancy.
