The Company:
RMC are independent publishers, producing a range of quality lifestyle and business magazines across the Yorkshire region. Their publications include Westside, Eastside, Northside, Southside (Lifestyle magazines for local regions), First 4 Business (Chamber of Commerce magazine) and Sheffield Sixer (a local community magazine).
The Vacancy:
The company has a vacancy in its Creative Advertising team. Members of the team will be required to visit clients to discuss the content and format of their advertisements, to generate new ideas and ensure tight deadlines are met. No selling is involved. The post represents an excellent opportunity for a start in publishing/advertising.
The position is based in Sheffield but members of the team will be regularly required to travel, to visit clients throughout the area of operation (ie: Sheffield, Doncaster, Leeds and Manchester). Academic discipline is irrelevant but candidates will be expected to have a high standard of written English. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills are essential, as is a full driving licence, held for at least one year. Since the vacancy is immediate, and time for relocation is therefore limited, preference will be given to candidates living in the South Yorkshire area.
Salary:
