Hours: 14 per month (1:4 weekends)

Applications are invited from experienced Clerical Officers to join the admin and clerical team within the Orthopaedic Department. The post is for weekend cover to the orthopaedic out patient department. The post holder will work on a rota of 1 weekend in 4, this involves clerical and administrative preparation for the busy orthopaedic out patient department.

Applicants must have at least six months office experience and be educated to GCSE level, including English at grade A-C. You should be able to demonstrate a good level of communication skills, both written and verbal and have the ability to work with high volumes of work. The successful candidate should be a good team player and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of patient confidentiality.

This post is unlikely to attract a work permit. Applications from candidates who require a permit to work in the UK may not be considered if there are a sufficient number of other suitable candidates.
