JOB SPECIFICATION
This post forms part of the sales team at Jenx Limited. The purpose of the role is to co-ordinate the various elements of the sales function and make sure that communication of purpose is clear and understood throughout the whole Team and that the functions of the Team work in harmony with one another. This post contains a large practical element in organising and co-ordinating all Customer Loans and also the logistics of the loan and repair or return systems.
Main Tasks of this Job
To support the Sales Team when they are out in the field. This part of your job also involves you liaising with the Production Team Leaders regarding samples or replacement parts for Product Advisers samples. This part of your job also involves you in communicating with others at the Sheffield base when Product Advisers want to initiate mail shots or similar in their area. You will be a link between the Sales Teams and the Marketing Function. There are many other specific tasks in this part of your job.
Undertake detailed sales analysis and provide data to the management team. Make recommendations for sales strategy to the Directors. To measure and regularly report activity and performance
Review current systems and procedures. Consider the current sales order processing systems and make recommendations for improved efficiency.
After Sales Service. This involves dealing with any problems arising from products. Product problems such as breakages are logged and monitored as part of the quality system so there is also a link there with Quality and Compliance.
Loan System some products go out on loan to customers to save a sales visit and also to give the customer longer to trial the product. Part of your role will be to run the systems for this.
Product Support. You will need a good working knowledge of all products in order to assist customers with their enquiries.
Person Specification
To have a pro-active approach with the ability to encourage improvements in efficiency
Experience of running a sales office and office management
Telephone/field sales experience
Good organisational skills
Good communicator at all levels
Computer literate, Word Processing, Databases and Spreadsheets. Keyboard skills
