Hours: 30 – Shifts on rota

We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified individual to join our team of chefs to help provide high quality food and service to all our patients, visitors and staff at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital.

It is desirable that applicants must have some experience in working with a large team of people within a busy Catering Department.

Successful candidates must demonstrate initiative, work to high standards and show excellent food production skills. Essential qualifications include GCSE Maths and English at grade D or above (or equivalent), City & Guilds 706/1 or NVQ 1 in Food Preparation Cooking. Further training is available for your development.

There is the opportunity to join the NHS Pension scheme and childcare facilities are available on the NGH site. Holidays commence at 27 days per year and rise on service to 33.
